Yamaha firmware update9/12/2023 ![]() ![]() The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are both HFR capable, as are PCs with high-spec graphics cards, although it’s unlikely PC gamers will partner their rigs with home theatre AVRs of this calibre. The 11-channel RX-A8A (pictured top), nine channel RX-A6A and seven channel RX-A4A, have had their HDMI 2.1 specification unlocked, with high frame rate support and wider HDR compatibility.įirmware version 1.65 supports 8K60/4K120fps video playback and HDR10+, as favoured by Primne Video, as well as Dolby Vision. Yamaha has finally rolled out the long-promised firmware update for its current Aventage AVR line up, and it’s mostly good news for gamers. Thank you.Posted on Friday, 29th April 2022 by Steve May ![]() It is up towards I think if remember, like 52, as when I turn OFF, I make sure the dial is down ALL THE WAY to “mute”! My email is: REMOVED. When I turn OFF, and then later, turn back ON, EVERYTIME I TURN RECEIVER BACK ON NOW, when the sound comes on, the damn sound ALWAYS is UP VERY HIGH, ear piercing, just about breaking my speakers, THAT IS HOW LOUD THE SOUND IS! Is there a button or firmware which I can utilize to stop this? Is there part of the firmware or something that I forgot to do or touch in order to stop this? OR is there something wrong with the unit? Because this has happened, everyttime, and every day, since Day 1, the day I received it. NO W….I have the RX-A860 stereo receiver, purchased June 2016. My old Yamaha receiver worked for 20 years, and everytime I shut receiver OFF, and then afterwards at another time, when turned ON again, the sound stayed in the same exact place. ![]()
